    Christmas Caroling at Creekside Christmas!
     Please join us on Saturday, December 6th at 3:45pm at Creekside Park. We will meet in the RCC parking lot. The event starts at 4:00pm. We plan to sing as a group in different areas around the park as our community enjoys the evening. Contact Shelley for more information- 336-687-3905.

    USFW CHRISTMAS PARTY

    All women are invited to the USFW Quaker Women Christmas party at the home of Gayle Lambeth on Monday, December 8 at 11:30 am. Please RSVP to Gayle and bring a dish to share.

    YOUNG ADULTS!! SAVE THE DATE!

    We are planning a Young Adult Holiday get together on Sunday, December 28th. Details are still being worked out. Time and location to be determined. See Herb Andrews with any questions.

    FEMAP REPORT

    So far this year we have delivered 2,347 hygiene kits. This is our most needed kit. Thanks for your help to meet this need.
    Reminder: Please save postage stamps from your mail, especially during the holidays. We forward these to Right Share. Income from collectors who buy these stamps is sent to missions overseas. Ruth Hughes

    QUAKER MEN NEWS

    December 13—Kids Christmas Cheer Shopping

    We need shoppers and wrappers. (EVERYONE is welcome!)

    We have 29 students to shop for!

    SHOPPERS will meet in the family life center (gym lot) at 9:00am, leaving at 9:15am.

    Then head to Walmart in the van or individual cars.

    We will meet at the registers at 10:45am and be back at the church by 11:30am for wrapping.

    Paper and tape will be supplied, but wrappers can bring their favorite scissors. Wrapping will take place in the family life center and we will NOT be serving lunch.

    WRAPPERS will meet at the family life center at 11:00am.

    If you would like to shop for a child but want to go on your own, reach out to Steve Lambeth at 336-888-8632.

    POINSETTIA order DEADLINE is THIS SUNDAY! Order forms are available on the information table outside the church office.

    NEIGHBORHOOD CAFÉ - AFM provides a meal quarterly (4 times a year) and it is held on Thursdays at Trinity Memorial UMC. Gayle and Elaine have headed this up for the past several years. In order to continue AFM's participation, we need a person (s) to take over the "organization" duties. If you feel led to help continue this outreach/ministry, please contact Gayle Lambeth, Elaine Albertson or call the church office.

    KIDS' MINISTRY—VOLUNTEERS NEEDED The kids ministry sign up sheet is posted outside Rodney's office. We have openings for Sunday School and Children’s church volunteers. You can volunteer for Sunday School or Children’s Church OR both!

    CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM - Parents & Grandparents: We’re preparing for our Christmas program and would love to know if your child would like to take part this year.

    This will be on Sunday, December 21 during morning worship at 11am along with the choir’s cantata.

    Some children may enjoy simply being part of the group, while others might like to have a small speaking role with a couple of lines. If your child is interested in participating, and especially if they would like a speaking part, please let me know.

    • The John Archdale Class meets in the Fellowship Hall every Sunday.
    • The Isaac Harris Class meets weekly in their classroom.
    • The Young Adult Class will meet weekly in the Aldridge Room.
    • The Genesis Class will meet weekly in their classroom.

    NURSERY & CHILDREN—Sunday School & Worship

    NURSERY is provided for children through age 3. (During Worship @ 11am)

    CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL (ages 4 and up) from 10:00-10:45am

    CHILDREN’S CHURCH (ages 4-10) is dismissed from the worship room
